CD cover mini album

Another project with packaging material and this time i am using the much neglected CD box.
This inspiration came along as i wanted to give something "special" to my dear friend for her bday. In the thought process i even delayed giving her the gift but was happy i could make this for her!

materials required:
Cd cover
pattern papers
cardstock
washi tapes
dies for making embelishment
sentiment stamps and inkpad
satin ribbons, pearls,rhinestones
stencils
Method:
Firstly clean the box and cut out the front  cover and back cover of the box from pattern papers.
Cut 4"x12" pattern paper/cardstock  (2pcs)and score at 4" and 8". This will give u an accordion card.Join them to make it a continuous card.
I distressed the edges and gave borders with washi tapes and also stenciled a few patterns.

Make some die cut embelishments, remenber not to make any bulky ones cos the lid of the box will not close later. I have inserted a few journaling tags too!
once the ebelishments are done, cut a mat 4 1/4" X4 1/4" and stick the accordion mini on that and then stick it on the back cover.

you can stamp in a few sentiments and finally i have secured the box by fastening satin ribbons on the front and back just in case the whole thing buldges out after sticking photographs.

Voila...a lovely mini album that can accomadate upto 10 photographs is ready...can hold memories more than that!
My friend loved it and i was happy to see her open the whole thing in front of me!
Hope you all enjoyed this tutorial...now dont throw away those cd covers!!!!
