Lately i have been making my own blooms and beleive me, it's sooooo addictive! So, when i got done with a few yellow flowers, i couldn't help but use it immediately!
I started by altering this table top calender( i love altering) and a lovely photograph of my daughter when she was a year and a half!
The background is layered with some brown paper, pattern paper and then some corrugated cardboard(my fav!) and then finally mounted the pic.
I heat embossed the large sunflower and the butterflies and then colored it and then worked with my handmade blooms to embelish.
I have used yellow burlap for the birdcage diecut and hung it from one of those leafy branches..(hope u can see it!)
A little secret about the 3D fence...these are chipboard remains of the birdcage diecut! I have gessoed it and inked it and held it together with twine. I just love the way it looks...
The sunshine label too is stamped and colored and have kept the embelishments in yellow and white only!
I enjoyed evety bit of making this and think my little doll will be happy and appreciate this a little later, she is just 4yrs old!
Thanks for stopping by and would love to hear your feedback and comments.
